I love doing creative couples portraits and engagement shoots in London but normally my couples want them out and about on the streets of London. When Elisa & Fabio got in contact and wanted to do some photos at home I jumped at the chance.
In your own home, your own environment, surrounded by the things you love, you relax, you let your guard down and are just yourselves. As a photographer, that is perfect. For me, that is what I am aiming to do with every couples shoot. I’m trying to tell your story and capture who you are as a couple but also as an individual. I always want my couples to look back and see themeselves in their photos. Capturing the way they hold hands, the way they lean on each, they way they hug and the way they look at each other when no one is watching.
Elisa & Fabio let me into their home and just did what they always do on a Sunday morning, open up the balcony doors, drink tea and snuggle up on the sofa.
I am so excited to be heading to Brighton and Glasgow next week to do a talk and also do some shoot sessions as part of The Photography Farm. The shoot sessions have limited places but I will be talking other photographers through a typical shoot and showing them how I get my couples to relax. They will get to see how I work and also see how I get close to get the portraits my couples book me for.
There are still a few spaces available if you want to get involved. More info here!

Now I really want a cup of tea – and that is never a bad thing in my world! x
