How I work
I want to tell the story of your wedding day from the giddy excitement & nerves of the morning through to the craziness of the dance floor.
I will be there capturing the nerves, the excitement, all the laughter and those happy tears.
Documenting the moments you were there for but more importantly the moments you weren’t aware of.
Lisa was so much more than a photographer – She supported us and advised us with the changes we made. She was a joy to have with us for our wedding day and it is clear that Lisa loves weddings and loves her job so much. (She actually forgot to change us in the end!)

Before the wedding
I am always on the end of an email but we will meet for a drink & chat before the wedding.
We can talk all things wedding, get you away from the wedding spreadsheets & get you excited about the day.
We will also chat about what is most important to you, the parts of the day you are most excited about & then get to the timeline. Making sure there is plenty of time to eat, drink, chat & dance along with plenty of time for photos.
The day itself will feel like a whirlwind, so by chatting through this stuff, we can make sure you get to take a step back, soak it all up and immerse yourself in all the love.
So much more than documentation, your photos are full of love, emotion, energy, style and detail.

WEDDINGS
On the day
After days, weeks, months of planning, your wedding day has finally arrived. You will be a bundle of nerves, excitement and anticipation and possibly a little apprehensive about what to expect. To take a little bit of the apprehension away, here is what a little breakdown of what I do and how I work.
If your package allows for prep ...
I would recommend coverage starting about an hour to an hour and half before we need to leave for your ceremony.
During the ceremony, I will be there to capture the kiss, the vows & ring exchange alongside the little glances, the tears & the laughter.
Now group photos are important, they are a record of those all important people but I a firm believer that they should not take over your day. When we chat, we will run through a list of groups shots and enlist a trusty best person, to help round up the guests & ensure you get plenty of time to spend with your loved ones.

Portraits are the bit of the day that most of my couples get nervous about & it’s my job to tell you it won’t be anything like those horrible school photos you had to have. (I still have nightmares about school photo day)
Don’t worry, I will guide you through the portrait session but I also just let you be so that the photos reflect you two, your relationship & all the happiness of the day.
Your portrait time is the perfect opportunity for you two to spend some time together. Trust me when I say this, sometimes it’s the only time you get, just the two of you. It’s the perfect opportunity to have a laugh & have a big cuddle.
When it comes to the dance floor, that first dance is always a little awkward but the moment everyone joins you on the floor is a moment you will never forget. (It’s a moment from my own wedding that fills my heart with so much joy)
I love a good dancefloor & it doesn’t matter whether you are a seasoned cheoreorapher or a shy wallflower, the moment that one song comes on is the moment everyones personality shines.
The only way to get those dancefloor photos is to get stuck in on the dancefloor…so it’s a good job I love to dance it out.

What happens after?
Now after the wedding, your facebook and instagram will probably be filled with your friends photos and while it’s amazing to see everyones shots…some people do not know how to filter and edit those photos.
SNEAK PEEKS
A couple of days after the wedding I will send you some sneak peeks, just a few photos that I fell in love with on the day & show the joy!
EDITING
It normally takes me about 6-8 weeks to edit your full gallery. This process isn’t rushed, I dedicate a lot of time to your final gallery to really tell your story and share the love.
DATE NIGHT
Once your gallery is ready, I will be on contact to arrange a time for you to view your highlights slideshow & gallery. This is the perfect excuse for a date night. Turn off those phones, grab a drink, settle in & let the adventure begin.
SNAIL MAIL
A few days later you will receive a package in the post which will include a wedding USB (if included in your package) & a few treats.
