The Barbican London, one of my favourite places.

This place, the Barbican London is a little oasis in my home town. Love it or hate it, everyone has an opinion. To me it is one of the most beautiful and brutal places in London. Full of concrete and class, sharp corners and strong lines, to some it feels uninviting, but I notice the curves that contrast the lines, the softness in the harshest of lights.

In the middle of the city, it is a little oasis of calm. It is quiet within the walls of the The Barbican, a kind of quiet not heard of in London.

Every sunday they open up conservatory. It’s normally closed to the public so the only glimpses you get are from peeking through the windows, something I have done numerous times. To get the chance to walk through this little oasis is something special. It’s quiet, warm and feels nothing like London.  Surrounded by concrete and glass, everything seems richer, rich greens, cacti for days.

  3. Love that little hidden garden up the top of the Barbican. Great set, the gritty textures look great on film
