Glasgow Botanic Gardens Wedding
Sometimes you meet a couple who are just wonderful, exude all the happiness and are just glad to have finally found each other. Susie & John are that couple. I met these two at Most Curious Wedding Fair and after chatting to them about their plans, I knew their day would be heartfelt and full of joy. Despite living in London, they decided to get married in Glasgow and they were adamant we head to the Glasgow Botanic Gardens for their portraits.
I am so glad we did because it was a beautiful break to the day. An opportunity to wander around a beautiful glass house, take some beautiful portraits and give them a little space to just enjoy getting married. Anyone that know me, knows how much I love taking photographs in greenhouses, glass house and conservatories.
These two fully embraced their portrait session at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens. They laughed, almost cried (happy tears) and just embraced the opportunity to just be with each other and excitedly chat about their day so far.
Every element of their day was full of personality. From their readings to the personal embroidery on Susie’s Story of my Dress wedding gown, these two put their hearts on display for their wedding day and it was such a pleasure to photograph. So many moments to document and little stories to tell. It is such a great part of the job, being able to work with couples to create a set of images that really reflect their story, their day.
