I have always loved the outdoor swimming pools we have in London, especially the old photographs of the ladies in their swimming hats and it has been a dream to shoot a wedding at Brockwell Lido. When Diana got in contact and asked me to shoot her wedding,  I jumped at the chance.

On the day of their wedding, despite the chill in the air, we were greeted with glorious sunshine. Diana and Stef wanted to involve their children in the ceremony and while their son was ring bearer, their gorgeous daughter couldn’t bear to be left out and joined them during their wedding vows and the exchange of the rings.  Once the ceremony was over and after a shower of confetti, everyone headed back inside for drinks before dinner was served.  Soon after the band started playing and everyone was on the dance floor.  I don’t think I have ever seen a dance floor fill so quickly. I am not sure what time these guys finished, but when I left everyone at the wedding was on the dance floor…just how a wedding should end!
